Shipping is in addition to the hamper price displayed. Kiwiana Hampers uses NZ Post for International Air and Courier services and receives a special rate which is not given to the general public which we happily forward on to you, as our customer. Given international shipping is already expensive, you can rest assure that we do not mark up on these competitive prices. Shipping is determined by their World Zones, as set out below.
Two options will be offered at the Checkout page for your shipping method – International Air and International Courier.
International Air is the cheaper option. It does however have a longer delivery target (refer below). It is not a tracked service and has no option for signature on delivery.
International Courier is more expensive which offers a shorter delivery target. It has online tracking and allows for a signature on delivery.

New Zealand’s goods and services tax is applied to hampers sent within New Zealand. It does not apply to exported products. You are responsible for any taxes or customs duties that may apply in the country or state the product is delivered to.

We use DPS Payment Express which deals with all our online payments, ensuring that no information or credit card details come to us. It is an international online security service specifically designed to protect your payment transactions on the internet.
PayPal is an international, industry leading security and fraud prevention payment system.
Kiwiana Hampers is a New Zealand based business and so all prices and billed transactions will be in New Zealand dollars.
It is vital that you have complete and accurate physical address details – the more information, the better! Most countries require a zip code/postcode, state or region and town. It is often helpful if you include the recipient’s phone number. If you are sending a hamper to a company, remember to include the company’s name. If you have special delivery instructions (for example: for an apartment complex “press number or bell”; or whether the hamper can be left with another person ie. reception or building manager; or how to locate a unit by advising identifying features “blue house at end of long driveway”. Include all special delivery instructions at the Checkout.
We reserve the right to replace any product listed in our hampers with another product of equal or more value. If it is an individual product item, rather than a hamper, that is unavailable, we will contact you and advise you of this.
If you have not received your parcel within the delivery timeframe specified, please contact us immediately. We will advise you on the claiming process on a case per case basis. Please note that all claims outside of 30 days from receiving your order will not be considered.
We take no responsibility for delayed or non-delivery of your order if the delivery address is incorrect or incomplete.
However, if your parcel has been returned to us due to an incorrect address or inability to collect it from the Post Office, we will provide you a refund excluding shipping and handling fee. Kiwiana Hampers is not responsible for any additional freight costs incurred.
We honour our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act if a hamper or item is found to be damaged or faulty. Please contact us within 3 days of receipt of the goods with details of the damage or fault and a photo of the problem. The goods must be unused and in the same condition that they were received. We will endeavour to remedy the situation by offering either a refund, replacement or store credit.
Your order will be dispatched within 24 hours of receipt of your order. However, if your order is placed over a weekend (a Saturday or Sunday) or on a statutory public holiday, your order will be dispatched on the next business working day.
